WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO ORDER?
Thursday, 6 PM for Monday (9 PM – 6 AM) overnight delivery
Sunday, 6PM for Wednesday (9 PM – 6 AM) overnight delivery
WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?
Currently, we deliver in the Southern California regions. From Los Angeles - San Diego – Claremont – Carpentaria and all the areas in between.
WHEN DO YOU DELIVER?
In order for us to avoid the heavy LA traffic, we deliver through the night. Meals are dropped off on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9 PM – 6 AM. Overnight deliveries (9 PM – 6 AM) are FREE!
If you live in the local Los Angeles area and if it is not safe to leave the food unattended, we can deliver on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 7 AM – 1 PM for $9.00. You will have this option at check out.
SHALL I LEAVE A COOLER OUT?
Even though ice packs will be left with your insulated bag, it is a good idea to leave a small cooler out at a specified area.
WILL MY PACKAGE BE SAFE?
Once the package is delivered to your address, we are not responsible for any stolen items. Our drivers photograph where each bag is left so we can ensure accurate delivery. At check out, please specify delivery instructions (access code, safe location to leave the bag, etc) in the notes section.
HOW DOES THE RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION WORK?
First, there is not an extra monthly fee to "subscribe". Second, the last thing you need to be thinking about post-birth is signing up for a meal each week. Our recurring subscription is set up for your convenience and you can cancel or skip anytime without penalty by logging into your account.
CAN I SKIP A DELIVERY?
Yes, you will need to log into your account and open the Delivery Schedule tab, there you will see all the upcoming deliveries. Select the next delivery date.

To cancel, simply log into your account and click the Subscriptions tab where you will see a Cancel button to the right of each product.
CAN I ORDER IF I’M NOT PREGNANT OR A MOTHER?
Absolutely, our meals are perfect at any stage of life! Enjoy our food if you are recovering from illness, feeling uninspired to cook for yourself, or are looking for a hearty, healthy family meal.
DO YOU CATER TO ALLERGIES?
We can only work with severe allergy requests at this time (which you can state in the notes section at check out). All of our ingredients are gluten-free, preservative-free and non-GMO and we use organic, pasture-raised protein (beef, chicken, lamb, eggs).
WHERE IS THE FOOD MADE?
Your meals are prepped and cooked in our certified commercial kitchen located in Sherman Oaks by our professional Executive Chef.
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR INGREDIENTS?
The majority of our produce is sourced locally from California farmers. We always choose organic first — it maybe not always the prettiest produce, but the taste is always seasonally rich.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO ORDER WHEN PREGNANT?
Now! Order anytime to give yourself relief from the kitchen or plan ahead for your postpartum recovery.
IS THE FOOD SAFE FOR MY UNBORN CHILD AND WHEN I’M BREASTFEEDING?
Yes, we plan and prep our ingredients for pregnant moms and moms who are breastfeeding. Remember that everybody’s constitution is different.
I HEAR MOTHERBEES ENERGETICALLY CHARGES THE FOOD, SAY WHAT!?
Yes, we cook the food with love and then bless it on the way out! We believe this helps give you the best healing, rejuvenating and detoxifying experience.
WILL MOTHERBEES HELP ME LOSE MY POST-PREGNANCY WEIGHT?
It could, but our main goal is to support you in your recovery by providing food that will help keep your body and mind healthy. And remember, you need some body fat in order to produce healthy breast milk for your baby!
WHAT IS THE IDEAL WAY TO HEAT THE FOOD?
There are two ways:
Stove top: slide items onto a small pan, add a little water, cover if needed and warm on medium heat for 6-7 minutes
Microwave: take the lid off the BPA-safe plastic containers and heat between 2-3 minutes.
HOW IS THE FOOD PACKAGED?
All our broths and teas are delivered in 16 oz glass mason jars. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are served in BPA-safe plastic containers that are microwavable and dishwasher safe.
